Greenland Sentinel
Strategic Operator

Rasmus has a solid background from the Danish Armed Forces, with more than 20 years of operational experience – the last 15 of which have focused on the Arctic. He served with the Sirius Dog Sled Patrol from 2009–2011 and later returned to northern latitudes as a key part of the Royal Danish Air Force’s Arctic operations from 2018 to 2022.

Here, he worked with the establishment and operation of improvised airstrips under extreme conditions – a field demanding technical insight, precision planning, and strong leadership.

Rasmus has participated in numerous Arctic exercises and civilian projects, often acting as an advisor within logistics, contingency, and operational planning. He was a key figure in the Leister Go North 2022 expedition, where his experience and strategic overview were crucial to the mission’s success.

Today, Rasmus is a core member of Arctic Capacity, contributing to the company’s Arctic operations through planning, advisory, and development. Calm, insightful, and deeply experienced, he serves as both strategist and sparringpartner – a central figure in delivering safe and effective solutions in some of the world’s most demanding environments.
