Thomas has spent several years working in Greenland – including at Station Nord and Thule Air Base (now Pituffik) as a firefighter. His connection to Greenland runs deep; as a child, he lived in both Ilulissat and Kangerlussuaq, and the Arctic has always felt like home.
With a background as a firefighter, ambulance driver, and mechanic, Thomas brings a rare blend of technical expertise, quick thinking, and calm under pressure. Known for his go-to energy and “everything can be fixed” attitude, he is the one you want by your side when things get tough.
Thomas played a key role in both the preparation and execution of Leister Go North 2022, where his practical skills and technical insight were vital to the expedition’s success.
